Absolutely the WORST service EVER. I have an annual contract. They refused to have a part sent overnite, missed TWO appointments, did not return my calls and did not respond to my request for a cancelation/refund of my service contract. I call a small family business in my town (Un ited). They had the part in stock, were at my home in less than two hours and had me up and running in 15 minutes. NEVER consider ustion Total Applicance.

Poor and slow replacement part

Ac not working

AC stop working eschedule appointment came 2 days on a friday afternoon when the service arrived said unit not good has to be replaced superviser will call you monday will be 4800 .Call Norca Ac service monday morning by 10 am change compresor 1300. Unit is perfect Toral appliance after I call and told them they said you should have to call the superviser and get a secon oppinion

February 2018. Air conditioner wasn’t working. Unit is 3 years old and covered under warranty. Technician arrived and said whole coil system had to be removed and replaced. Did not know when they could get the part. Temp in my condo was 77-79 degrees and my daughter , who had asthma, was visiting. After calls to office, I was told it would probably be 5-7 days to get the replacement because it was under warranty and an exchange had to be done along with the paper work. Office called me back and said that the located the part and guarantee it installed the next day between 1-5 pm. Technician arrived at 4pm, opened the box and found it to be the wrong part. After several calls to the office, I was told that the correct pat was located and would be picked up first thing in the morning and be installed. Next day, I called office at 11am and was told that part was being picked up. 12 noon , office called that technician was tied up in traffic and would be there in 1/2 hour. Office called in 1/2 hour to say that there was an accident on I95 and technician would be late. I received excuse after excuse. Left voicemail for owner Mr. Southward about situation and never heard from him. Would not recommend Total to any. You get lies and deceit from the office. Look elsewhere. Look at Pride appliance repair. Still waiting for technician. Horrible service and horrible company.

Once again, these people are unprofessional and unreliable. They installed a new AC unit at my client's property and never shows up for the final city inspection. Once they get paid, they treat you like ***! They deserve to go bankrupt.

Total-ly unreliable office

Total promises to undertake work and to send repair technicians within certain time frame on a specific date. When technicians don't show for the appointment at all, the back office claims ignorance of the matter, as if the appointment never existed - after assuring the customer that the technician will be there within the half hour. The customer is left at loose ends. Total would appear to view its customers as captive fish in a barrel, a poor attitude that won't serve it well in the near term or the long run. When the repair technicians do show - and it's a *** shoot if they do - they are skilled, efficient and pleasant. But it's not worth having to waste time waiting for an appointment that may evaporate in an instant.

Total incompetence

In my life I have never experienced such poor service. 6 months to get a bathtub working. Many scheduled and missed appointments. Removed parts. Lost them. Showed up and forgot parts. Truly insane. This is the company to avoid. They are in the business of signing people to contracts but offer beyond horrible service. Everyone who uses them regrets it. At th end they were too embarrassed to charge for repairs but I would have much rather paid and received service. Some of the staff don't even have their answering systems set up because they can't deal with the complaints. Even the front staff and receptionists told me that they had experiences with customers like me all the time and that they were embarrassed working for this company. Yet they keep signing suckers to contacts and abuse them

Well ... that is Total App for you!!

As far as I am reading those reviews for this Company If I can say Company were one worst than the other. I have no Idea how this "Company" still in business and how they still have people that call them for service. I wouldn't even waist my time in calling people so incompetent, and putting my equipment in risk by calling that place. I also know by a employees review that they dont even know how to value good employees.

For example they dont even know how to give a good trainee to new employees.

They missed treat new employees , That is why they only like to hire people that have some kind of friendship relation with the family or from another employee that is already working for them for years. They should be out of business in my opinion as far as all the comments I have read they are a rip off People !!!

Like other reviewers- it started when my washing machine broke. We called total appliance. Called on Monday - they couldn't come out until Friday. I left work early and they would not even look at the washer and dryer without ordering parts (basically parts to extend the length of the wires on the washing machine and dryer so they could look at the back) This was on a Friday. They didn't get around to ordering the parts until Monday even though I asked them to expedite it. Called Total appliance while the tech was here to try to order the parts on Fri- Someone nasty answered and said they couldn't order anything until the tech left and turned in the paperwork. The person who answered the phone could not care less that, that would delay the parts to be ordered until Monday. Parts were ordered w out expediting. It took five days to get the parts. Now we are going on ten days with out a washing machine. Made an appointment for them to come back was told we would have an all day appointment but they would call an hour before the appointment. Perfect because we work five min away. Did they call an hour before? Noo! They show up at the building and call and leave. I get a msg on my phone they came by and reschedule. My husband went home and was there a min later. Called total appliance was on hold twenty min. Irately explain they were supposed to call an hour before. They lie and say the guy is there. My husband who left work is sitting there waiting about an hour. Even though I told total appliance to communicate with him- I'm at work and I get a second call from total appliance that the guy is downstairs and he can't get up. Tell my husband. Now I'm getting texts from the owner of the unit that total appliance called him twice. Then I get another Call from total appliance that the guy is lost in the hallway. Then my husband goes looking for him- he makes it there twenty min later. Now my husband has been sitting there over an hour- I'm super aggravated getting nothing done at work- then the guy puts on the parts he ordered to the tune of 86 dollars and of course that only allows him to move the washer. Now he needs to order two more parts. My husband tells him to order immediately and expedite- I call up and it's the end of the day- the guy never turned in his paper work or ordered the parts. They will be ordered monday- putting us at day 13 no washer and dryer - and seven to ten days to get the parts- business days... Every time you call be prepared to wait on hold for at least ten minutes - be prepared to speak to someone very apathetic- don't bother leaving messages for parts because they don't call you back- do be prepared to be VERY inconvenienced VERY UPSET- waste a ton of time- and get very unprofessional service with zero sense of urgency

Total chaos and an out right ripoff to the consumer. Five days with no air conditioning. Five attempts to resolve the air conditioning in one year of residence at Century Village. I am just a renter, they outright disregard their responsibilities. Staffed with poorly trained personnel, who show up to your door uniformed about the problem with the appliance that you have called them five times about. I would steer clear and far from this company, don't do it. You will regret it. Signing off an innocent RENTER

Total refuses to order parts to fix our dishwasher.

A service man was here, found the problem, ordered the parts a month ago. total does not contact us, cannot be reached on the phone, does not answer e-mails. we call , leave messages, no one calls us back. We find out today - after waiting on the phone for 30 minutes that the parts order was cancelled, but no one will tell us why or discuss reordering the parts. The manager Johnny does not call back, the parts department does not call back and every call costs us at least 30 minutes. Our service contract is worthless - unless you count aggravation.

Kept my $259.70 and did not fulfil contract repair of Oven/Range.

I am very disatisfied with the service. I have left several messages for Mr. Southard President, he does not responded. I am a legally disabled person living on a fixed income and cannot afford Total Appliance & A/C Repair to keep my money. July 10, 2009 I signed and paid in advance $259.70 for an annual service contract with Total Appliance & A/C Repair, Inc. September 29, 2009 they cancelled my contract without a refund. They charged me for labor and a part they installed into my Oven/Range which did not repair the Oven/Range. They told me they are not responsible for items that cannot be repaired. This company did not fulfill its obligation under the contract in repairing my Oven/Range. If they cannot repair my Oven/Range they should refund my $259.70. In just two (2) months they have taken my money and did not repair my Oven/Range. This is a very unfair, unethical and unprofessional business practice and they should not be allowed to keep my money. How can they get away with this? On July 10, 2009 I signed a contract and paid in advance an annual fee of $259.70 with Total Appliance & Air Conditioning Repairs, Inc. On July 22, 2009 Derrick arrived and checked the conditioner and the broiler. He informed me the air-conditioner was fine and did not need any free-on and would order a part for the broiler. On August 31, 2009 Derrick returned and installed the part. The broiler still did not work. He said he would consult with his supervisor Milton. I called to cancel the contract and requested a full refund. They put Milton on the phone and he said there would be no problem but to allow him time to reorder another part. Several weeks later on September 28 Milton replaced the part and said, "Derrick had installed the wrong part. The following day September 29, I called Milton and told him the broiler was still not functioning properly and to please retrieve the part he installed and refund my $259.70. He said he understood and told me to e-mail my request, which I did on that day. After several phone calls to Total I spoke with Patty whom informed me the contract was cancelled with no refund due to the installed part and service. And that the company was not responsible for items that could not be repaired. A full refund of $259.70 is due if the company cannot perform the repair.

what I dont understand is why People that have that bad experience with this Company doesn't take action to them and do something about it. Why ..?? Business like that need to be stopped by someone. They are honestly a rip off company in all the way.
